The command bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 as seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
In the movie, the bridge set of the Enterprise was a redress of the Enterprise bridge from the first movie, Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Director Nicholas Meyer felt the bridge was too bland, so he opted for a heavy redress by dimming the lighting, painting the walls darker colors, adding more blinking lights, and adorning some of the bare walls with greeble panels. He also re-arranged the bridge stations so that they made more sense from a cinematic standpoint. A fan favorite and seen as saving Star Trek from near-death after a disappointing first film , Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is often considered the best of the Star Trek movies featuring the original cast.
