A game-ready model of the newly refitted U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 as seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I went about modeling it as if it were the original filming model, and did not add details that were not present on the original model (such as extra hull paneling). I paid extra attention to accurately replicating the "Aztec" pattern as closely as I could. In The Motion Picture, the ship had a much more pearlescent look to it compared to the later films, where problems with blue-screen photography and the reflective surface dictated that they apply a dulling spray to the original paint job.
The windows are all handled with decals with displacement maps and are not actually modeled into the geometry. This saved a ton on polycount and modeling time. The final model comes in at 55k polygons, considerably efficient for a model of this size. This is meant to be more of a full-sized museum piece rather than a model used for a starship flight/combat simulation gameplay.
