U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A Transporter Room -- Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

The transporter room of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A as seen in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. This set was a redress of The Next Generation's transporter room, which itself was a redress of the transporter room built years before for the cancelled television show Star Trek: Phase II and the feature film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Harkening back to the room's apperance in The Motion Picture, a large glass booth was installed on the set to make the room feel a bit less advanced than transporter room of the Enterprise-D in TNG. Other cosmetic changes were made to the set as well.
